Yes the Heaphy Track officially opened for the winter season yesterday – the 1st of May.  Brian was on his bike at first light to check it out and make the first tracks (so to speak).  The message back from Brian last night that DoC have put in some amazing work over summer and the track is in fantastic condition!  Watch this space for what Brian has to say…  I cant wait to get out there!
